Rouse Hill Regional Park | Part 3 of 3

Transcript

Hi everyone it’s Nick here from Barley Monks Photography and this is part 3 of my series of videos for Rouse Hill Regional Park. If you haven’t seen my previous videos, I’m going around and talking about locations for your next family session in Sydney, or in Sydney’s Hills District more specifically.

This spot here is the kids play area in Rouse Hill Regional Park, there’s 2 of these areas… there’s this spot here, and then there’s another section a bit further over with a flying fox, and couple of other things. This park is fantastic. It’s got a kids maze that goes through here. it’s got a BBQ area that you can hire out for kids parties, it’s also got some slides and bridges, and all sorts of stuff for kids. It’s just got a lot more in it than your standard park does.

It’s also beautiful for family photography, because the way the park’s built. It’s built with all this timber that’s weathered quite nicely over time, which looks really nice to give your photos some texture, and it also has some really nice old rusty sculptures in here as well, that work really well and just give an interesting feel to the photos, and really the kids can just go nuts and that’s when you get some of the best shots. When they’re just going nuts in the playground, and you get the real natural smiles from them, because it’s not forced. They are just able to be themselves, and that’s what I really thrive on with the photography. I hate forcing the photos with the kids. I prefer it to be really natural, and that’s when I think you get the best results… when you’re in areas like this and they can just do their own thing.

This is the last of these videos. Hang around for the next series of videos, where I ‘ll be talking about… I’m not sure what I’ll be talking about, but you’ll find out soon.

If you haven’t seen the videos for this area check them out, they’re on my site www.barleymonksphotography.com.au, and you can see some of the other work that I do there as well, and even check out some of my family session prices, and hang around for the next series of videos. Thank you.
